My Journey So Far
My journey has always been guided by an endless curiosity about human expression. I am a teacher and lifelong student, an artist, an avid traveler, a nurturer by nature, and a proud mother of two beautiful girls.
Born in Thessaloniki, my path was shaped early on by a profound love for language and the arts. The ability to connect across cultures has always fascinated me, inspiring me to say yes every time to learning and traveling. I earned my bachelor’s degree in French Literature and Philosophy from Aristotle University, which naturally evolved into being both a teacher and travel guide. Teaching has always been at the core of my identity; it allows me to share knowledge while remaining open to growth.
Compelled to deepen my studies, I moved to England to pursue a Master of Arts in Theatre at the University of Bristol, exploring classical Greek theatre through the lens of Jung and Freud. After publishing my thesis, I worked in academic editing and publishing.
My next chapter brought me to the United States, where I pursued acting professionally following Conservatory Training. Classical repertory, from Shakespeare and Moliere all the way to the Ancient Greek dramatists, was always my favorite jam. As my daughters started school, I returned to my roots in education, teaching French and theatre.
After years of acting and teaching, I felt propelled to invite something entirely new into my life; I enrolled in YoYoYogi’s 200-hour Teacher Training. It was intense, meaningful, grounding and profoundly transformative. While I’ve been a yoga lover for over 20 years, I used to approach my practice with a fitness mentality. During my spring training, it became clear to me that yoga is not merely another workout. The mind-body awareness that requires to focus inward for balance and alignment, combined with intentional breathing is something I’m fine-tuning constantly, and my meditation is a work in progress. In short, this practice became a way of life and I couldn’t be happier.
I am incredibly grateful for this path, and I look forward to step onto the mat with you and be part of your journey.
